« Croyez moi. J’avais la moitié du talent de beaucoup de gars dans cette ligue. Ce qui m’a séparé des autres était ma soif de victoire », explique-t-il notamment.

Âgé de 32 ans, Mincey était sans club depuis la fin de la saison dernière. Auteur de 26 sacks en 216 matchs, il a vécu une carrière agitée.

Drafté par les Patriots puis coupé avant sa saison rookie, il passe rapidement à San Francisco avant de trouver une place à Jacksonville, ou il devient titulaire en 2010. Après un bref passage à Denver, il a terminé sa carrière à Dallas. En 2015, il a débuté 6 matchs pour les Cowboys.
